6 Ways Vogue Valet Makes Laundry Easier for Big Families

If you have a big family, you know the hamper is never empty. Five, six or seven people can fill it faster than you can sort, wash, dry and fold, and the pile is back by the next morning. Vogue Valet is our wash and fold pickup and delivery service for customers across Sacramento, and it fits big households especially well. Here are six practical ways it takes laundry off your plate.

1. Laundry Stops Eating Your Weekend

When laundry is a home job, it spreads across the whole week and then takes over Saturday. With Valet, the sorting, washing, drying and folding all happen somewhere else. You bag it up, and the hours you used to spend at the machine go back to your family.

2. We Come to Your Door

You do not load the car or drive across town with baskets and kids. Pickups and deliveries run Monday through Friday between 12 PM and 3 PM. Two laundry bags rotate: you leave the dirty bag at your front door, and the clean one comes back. That is the whole routine.

3. Every Load Is Checked, Separated and Folded

We inspect your clothes and check the pockets, which matters when kids’ jeans go through. Lights and darks are washed separately, and everything comes back folded. If someone in the house has sensitive skin, we can follow your preferences, including hypoallergenic detergent and fragrance-free.

4. A Clear Turnaround You Can Plan Around

Wash and fold comes back within 3 days. If you add something that needs dry cleaning, like a school blazer or a good dress, dry cleaning is returned within 5 days. Knowing when the bags come back makes it easy to plan the week around practices, school and work.

5. Pricing You Can Predict

Valet has two plans, and for a big family the math usually favors the membership. Here is a sample month. Say your family sends 40 pounds a week, which is four orders a month. Your own weight will differ, so treat this as an example, not a quote.

  • Pay-As-You-Go: $3.50 per pound, plus a $9.95 pickup and delivery fee and a $5.00 service fee per order, with a $30 minimum. For 40 pounds, that is $154.95 per order, or $619.80 for four.
  • Vogue Valet Membership: $3.00 per pound for $10 a month, with no pickup and delivery fee, no service fee and no minimum. For 40 pounds, that is $120 per order, or $490 for four orders including the membership.
  • The difference: about $129.80 a month in this example. Household items like comforters are priced separately on either plan.

6. A Routine That Runs Itself

Pick your pickup day, and laundry becomes something that just happens each week. For a household with a packed calendar, that predictability is the real gift. There is one less thing on the family group chat.
